absolute skin miracle

I got a couple sample packets of this mask, each one containing only 3 ml of product. The full sized tube I just ordered contains 75 ml. That would be 25 uses if it works in that amount- and I'm happy to say that I was able to make a single 3 ml sample work for me. That really helps when it comes to cost per use. ANYWAY- more importantly, this mask is honestly one of those situations where the results are weirdly spectacular and you wouldn't be able to anticipate them based on the ingredients list. Even using the bare minimum, my skin was smoother, with essentially invisible pores and a scar above the space between my eyebrows from a car accident literally shrank down to nothing. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes, I had to look in a couple different mirrors in a couple different rooms, thinking maybe the mirror was cloudy (blurring the way things looked) or maybe the light was playing tricks on me.. but no... it was really that good after one use. I've had a nightmare of a time trying to use Charlotte's Magic Foundation and usually I don't use it, but following this mask I was able to get a flawless result. I had completely given up on that foundation and it was in my junk makeup box, it was that bad, so the difference was incredibly significant. I don't wear makeup that much but when I do, I want it to look perfect. Therefore, I feel like it's worth it to follow Charlotte's lead and invest in this as a step before every makeup application, regardless of what foundation I am using.

great for RCMA foundation users

After collecting a rather daunting number of RCMA foundations in the 6 color format (large size, 6 well palettes in clear plastic packaging that doesn't stay shut- which they are in the process of fixing btw) rather than the jars with screw on lids, I really needed to find a more compact way (and airtight way) to store them.

I used a palette knife and kind of "whipped up" 12 custom colors of RCMA foundation on a metal palette and filled the wells with them. it took a little while since I was not just cutting the product and sticking it in the compartments, but I now have a fabulous 12 color compact in better packaging and really find the quality of this container to be very high. It is sturdy, lines up correctly unlike what my foundations came in, and is hard, dense plastic- which is another improvement.

I didn't choose to microwave or heat the container, because I personally feel that products with waxes and oils end up with all the pigment at the bottom (like lipsticks i depotted a few years ago) so I don't know how that process would go with VueSet, but I don't really even think it needs that feature to be worth the price. I would definitely buy more of these compacts without hesitation, and will probably pick up a few of the other styles they make.

gorgeous baked gelee formulation, no fallout!

There are a lot of reviews comparing this to the other Charlotte Tilbury quads, and the amount of product vs. cost- but they aren't the same product as this is. The other shadows are traditional powder shadows that apply like powders, and this is not. It is creamy, it goes on to brushes like a cream-powder hybrid "baked gelee" formula. It is impossible to create a dusty mess, and swirling a brush over the shadow does not kick up ANY product. The pigmentation is fabulous as well, and they blend without any effort at all. The bronzy shade seems a little out of place from the photo online, but in person it blends amazingly as an intermediate shade between the taupe and black. You can also dampen the black and make an incredible liner out of it, which i'd never risk doing to a regular powder shadow. All in all, I'm super happy Beautylish was able to get some of these discontinued quads in stock so I could buy it. I definitely think this formula is worth the higher price, and I don't regret anything about my purchase.

I put this on while my mom and I were watching a movie at her house, and when the movie was over she looked at my eyes and just said "wow! your eyes look incredible!" Since she doesn't usually say much about makeup, it was a big deal. I'd done similar looks before without any comment from her, but these really do apply so smoothly and create such an airbrushed look, I could see why she was more impressed with the result than usual.

I would love to see Charlotte Tilbury create more quads using this formula in the future. Another plus for those with GMO corn allergies is that this quad does not contain any corn starch, which is included in all of the other quads.

miracle for long, fine, blonde lashes.

My eyelash issues aren't the same as the majority of people, so the best-selling mascaras tend to be garbage for me. I have lashes that would probably be considered "very long" but each lash is fine and they are light brown at the roots and invisibly blonde at the ends. When I got this mascara, I found that it defines each lash, makes it super black, and thickens it, making it look like i have a set of fake lashes on. It also sets very well and holds a curl unlike any other mascara I've had before. I used to use Chanel Le Volume (and wanted nothing to do with any other mascara) until I tried this one, and I won't be going back to Chanel. This mascara also has a great brush, it really combs through my lashes and I can easily shape my lashes to pull them straight up or angle them toward the outside for a more feline lash look.

What Le Teint Touche Éclat should have been. GORGEOUS!

I have been crazed for years trying to find the perfect glowing foundation that was luminous due to its pigments and not just full of oil, and I also have sensitive skin that doesn't react well to chemical sunscreens and heavy perfumes. I also hate anything that looks remotely cakey. I tried YSL's Touche Éclat foundation as soon as that came out, and it was perfect looking, but it caused redness and my nose would itch badly when I was wearing it so I would have no makeup on my nostrils after ten minutes and they would be red from blowing my nose so many times. I had to give my bottle away and go on a 3 year hunt for the perfect foundation all over again. The first time I tried this, I got a shade that was way too pale, shade 1. Usually I have to wear the lightest shade any brand has, but not in Charlotte's makeup. Shade 1 didn't match and seemed to have less pigment than the other shades I subsequently got samples of. I found out that this makeup seems to have more wiggle room and room for error when choosing your shade, the same way that the original YSL Touche Éclat foundation did- I could wear a BD10 or a BD40 in that and it didn't ever look like a mask or like it didn't match. That's exactly how this foundation looks.

The glowy finish on this is amazing. It covers really nicely if you pat it on with your fingers or dab it on with a flat, traditional foundation brush. I would not recommend using any kind of stippling brush or kabuki brush with this, you can do it but it won't cover and you will waste product.

I'm not really sure why so many people are saying that it has no coverage. I don't agree with that, but I guess I have no idea what they are trying to cover with it. I don't have acne, just some annoying redness that makes my face more pink than I would like, probably due to the fact that my skin is so light and see through. That isn't a look that I particularly like, I'd rather be opaque and glowy with no pink. Maybe that isn't a big deal to cover for the people writing the things about it having no coverage, they aren't really specific about it... but for my issues this definitely solves all my problems and feels nice and doesn't irritate my face at all or dry it out.

I bought this in 3 shades- for winter, summer, and self tanning. That is how much I love this foundation. I also personally think it's a really good price for what it is, I'm used to having to pay $60 for foundation, and in my opinion, if your foundation isn't perfect, there is absolutely no way your makeup can look good.

If you have spots to cover, the retoucher is incredibly thin and pigmented, and very glowy even after it is completely dry, so it really goes with this perfectly.

perfect under-makeup moisturizer

This cream is amazing to wear under makeup. Because it contains beeswax (and I think I read it also contains paraffin wax?) it actually seems to "set" after a couple minutes and forms a very smooth barrier on the skin instead of remaining moist to the touch, or oily. I don't think this is good for dry skin at night, my chin is very dry right now and no matter how much I use on it, this isn't helping that. For people with dry skin, you'd need a serum or something under this if you're trying to treat dryness under your makeup, and you should use something more moisturizing when you're not wearing makeup. If your skin is normal or oily, this will definitely not be a disappointment. It is also amazing for sensitive skin, which I have. Caudalie is the only other brand that has a moisturizer that makes my face less pink when I apply it, and Caudalie costs more and doesn't form that barrier like a makeup primer the way this does. I Love Embryolisse! I really think that everyone should have this in their makeup bag, and I'm kind of amazed that they don't.

incredible formula and impeccable shade

The K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick formula is incredible. It is smooth and non-cakey on the lips, and it moisturizes nicely. I find that dabbing it on and smoothing it out works really well rather than swiping it across the lips, just because it is a more creamy formula and it is richly pigmented, so applying less actually seems to be better in my opinion. If your lips are darker than whatever shade you're using in this formula, applying a small amount and blending it with your natural lip color seems to be the best way to wear it so that it looks less artificial.

Bitch Perfect is a NUDE, even though it looks really pink in Charlotte's videos and in the picture online. It is not pink like that. It is a comparable shade to Penelope Pink, except it is not yellowy like Penelope Pink. I hate Penelope Pink, it looked terrible on me, even having neutral-yellow undertones, but I absolutely LOVE this shade and it really is like a perfect match for my natural lip color, so it is incredibly flattering and exactly the perfect shade I was looking for to complete my go-to "glowy natural" makeup look.
