Hey Angela! So I decided to try doing my own hair tonight! I'm a little nervous but still confident. I've done a lot of research and want to say your tips really helped me!

My beauty supply store didn't have the same color toner you suggested (Ivory Lady) so I got the lightest beige blonde instead but I don't always have to use toner on my hair so we'll see. I also color manage with Matrix So Silver (It's a life-saver!!) so i may try a wash with that before toner. I just wanted to ask you just a little more advice on how to make sure you don't overlap too much when you're touching up your roots, I don't want to cause any more breakage.
