Easy to create a Beautiful finish with this powder!!
After trying they bye bye pores powder and being totally disappointed with it I decided to try this powder out and I am so glad I did. It's a lovely setting powder and easily creates the perfect finish to your makeup look. Thankfully it's talc free and has a Physical SPF of 50 so it won't irritate your skin and provides strong sun protection. I like to apply it at the very end of my makeup with a large fluffy brush to set my face and soften any edges that I may have from contour or blush products. This is the perfect setting powder to use when I mix the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops with the IT no 50 primer serum. Every time I use those 3 products together I get compliments on my skin and people asking me if I've just had a facial or what I am doing to my skin to get it so smooth and healthy looking. This is a great product and one I will always want to have on hand!
Mascara fail for me
I love IT Cosmetics, so naturally I wanted to love their mascara...however I didn't feel like this product lived up to any of it's claims. It transferred to my lash line, flaked off during the day and by the end of the day was smudged all over my under eye. I also felt like it was so goopy coming out of the tube. It's one redeeming quality is that it is one of the blackest black mascaras I've found. But it's a fail for me, which is a bummer because tight line is so amazing!!!
New Holy Grail serum/primer
I can't believe how much I love this product. Usually I need to use something for a month before I decide if I love it or not. This product had me at hello! The very first time I used it I knew I loved it! I apply it after a moisturizer and love how it transforms my skin. It's gives the skin a radiant, but not greasy finish while blurring pores and fine lines. It creates a beautiful base for liquid, cream or powder foundation and is packed with incredible ingredients like essential oils, vitamins, collagen, hylaronic acid, aloe...and the list goes on. BUT...this reached HOLY GRAIL status for me because it is literally the best product I have found for mixing with the new Cover FX Custom cover drops!!!! I have tried over 20 products mixed with my CCD's and like a lot of the combos I have found, but none look and feel as beautiful as this combo! All day long my skin looks lit from within yet maintains a beautiful finish when I pair the two and people constantly ask me what foundation I am wearing!
Universal taupe really is universal!!!
I was so skeptical of the universal taupe shade and the claim that it is perfect for light, med or dark hair. However I LOVE it! I couldn't believe how light or dark I could get it. To make it look darker press harder and to keep it on the light side just push softer during application. It's really easy to use and apply and blends well with a spoolie for a natural looking brow. I've noticed I don't even need to set my brows with brow gel when I use this. I don't have the brush that IT made for this but I've heard it's awesome and is the brush to use with this. I've been using a small angled liner brush and have found that to be just fine as well. I haven't tested this out in the water but with summer here I'm so excited to be able to see how it holds up in water because it definitely lasts all day!!
All you need for summer!!!
I got 3 of these as soon as they launched (mona lisa, jean and marie antoinette) and I have worn them every single day. I will probably order the other 3 because they are so beautiful, easy to use and long wearing. Here is how I have found they work the best: if you have a dewy lid like I do use MAC painterly as the base, then using your finger apply the CT e2m all over the lid or crease. It's really easy to blend a powder shadow into the crease with these if you want to create more dimension. I am typically not a wash of color eye look person but these are so beautiful on their own that I've been loving the look of them on their own. I have a hooded eye and noticed that my liquid eye liner does transfer so I just use a pencil or gel liner with these and problem solved. These are a must for summer because they are so quick and easy to use and yet still deliver a high impact eye look!
J Lo Glow!!!!!!
This is one of my top 5 favorite bronzers! It's got a gorgeous sheen to it and depending on how you swirl your brush you can get a light, medium or dark bronze out of it. I love the beautiful champagne highlight and feel like it can go from very light/white to more of a shimmery gold tone. I can see why it would be useable on a wide range of skin tones. I'm fair and it warms my skin up perfectly. I am not crazy about the packaging though. I feel like it looks cheap and I've seen a lot of my friends who's lids break off of. Also if you are on a budget there is enough product in here to last years...I have been using it for the last 9 months and while I don't use it every day but I've not even made a dent in it.
Universal, good for your skin and great for travel
This is a very wearable and convenient face palette. Once again It uses their "universal" technology to create a beautiful shade of blush that just about anyone can wear, as well as a bronzer that hits a wide range of skin tones, but I've yet to find a universal bronzer. I don't think IT has the sleekest packaging but I actually like the packaging. I've used this on myself and currently use it in my pro kit because it's perfect for Bridal and for creating the naturally pretty look.
Skip this and go with build a brow
I used this for a few weeks really testing it out. And it works fine, but I just wasn't in love with it. I think there are a lot of better, softer, more blendable brow pencils out there that I would choose over this one. However I will say that somehow the color is actually universal! It really does work on a wide range of brow colors. It worked but I wasn't wow'ed!
Reminds me of KEVYN AUCOIN The Sensual Skin Enhancer
This makes covering redness and evening out skin tone a breeze. It works on "red-toned skin discolorations from rosacea, broken capillaries, blemished skin, irritated skin, sun damage, scars, age spots, etc". I use this in my pro kit and love how beautifully it works on rosacea. Like most of IT's products use it sparingly! Also I think it's nice to let it dry before buffing foundation over the top.
Under eye spackle????
I'm really torn on this product but this is what I will say about it: *It's covers the darkest under eye circles and discoloration with full coverage and will neutralize the under eye area. * A little goes a long way. It's super think and total coverage. So it gets cakey real quick. *It will work on those dark circles over time to diminish them.
I gave it 3 stars because I think it's difficult to use and the margin for error is significant. I have found that the best way to apply it is with a beauty blender or the mini beauty blender because the moisture in the beauty blender helps to sheer it out and give a more natural and less likely to crease finish. I find that with a brush it just deposits to much product.
