Published May 5, 2011
If you're in a hustle but have more than five minutes to spare in the morning, you can create an effortless look with just a few extra beauty products. Celebrity makeup artist Jeffrey Paul gives Beautylish his take on how to beautify yourself in 10 minutes or less. For the beauty on the absolute go, don't miss Jeffrey's tips on makeup looks under 5 minutes.
When you're in a rush, Jeffrey emphasizes having a beauty game plan. "Having an assembly line beauty routine will not only help you get out the door quicker, it will help you create a consistent schedule and ease of mind." Personally, I have all my go-to beauty products on a pretty tray on my bathroom counter. On those days I roll out of bed, I have everything laid out in front of me so my beauty routine is a no-brainer.

Before you go to bed the night before, use a leave-in-conditioner and wrap your hair in a loose top knot with an elastic band or scrunchie. In the morning, undo the knot and run your fingers through your hair with some flyaway tamer for the tousled wave look. You can leave it as is or use a few hair pins to pull it back in a messy bun. If you have short or medium length hair, be sure to add some products to control frizz so your style doesn't look too messy.

Use a sunscreen moisturizer all over your face and neck. After it dries, apply your favorite primer.

My suggestion for must-haves when you're in a crunch are concealer, foundation, blush, mascara, eyeliner and lip color. Apply foundation to even out your complexion. Use concealer to cover dark circles and spot conceal blemishes or discoloration. With a cream or powder blush, add a flush to your cheeks to brighten your face.

Define your eyes by curling your lashes, applying mascara, and tight-lining your upper lash line with an eyeliner. Add a bit of color to your lips with lipstick or lip gloss to look fresh and wide awake.
