We spotted rolled buns at McQueen and flowing locks at Burberry, but it was the messy, undone braids at Mulberry that topped our best tress list. Hairstylist Sam McKnight randomly wove hair all over the model’s heads, sometimes twisting the strands back onto themselves. “I wanted it to look as if the girls had slept in their braids,” explained Sam.

While the artistic flair shown at Louise Gray may not be suitable for an everyday look, we’re inspired to try some color! MAC makeup artist James O’Reilly referenced water color paintings when creating the multi-hued look, and used six different tones to create the kaleidoscope effect. “Paired down, this look can work on anyone,” insists James.

While neutral fingertips were the look du jour at New York Fashion Week, London is known for its wacky, out there nail designs. We adored the raised, skateboard texture at Vivienne Westwood, but what really caught our eye were the truly English hounds-tooth nails at House of Holland. To achieve the pattern, nail artist Sophy Robson painted nails in pink or blue and covered them with a white, patterned overlay.
