Beauty Product Reviews
The only gel for me.
For winged liner my preferred choice is gel, I've tried a few but nothing has come close to Inglot. The great thing about this liner is that it's waterproof, when you apply it it's there right up until you take it off. Lasting power is something I've always had problems with so this is the main things I love. Colour payoff is also another positive about this product, I bought number 77 which is jet black which stays this colour until removed with no fading, smudging or flaking.
The only downfall of Inglot gel liner is removal. Just like waterproof mascara it can be a bit of a nightmare to take off, especially if your tired and just want to climb in to bed. The best method of removal I have found is an oil based cleanser or make up remover. Gently using one of these with warm water will remove the liner with no scrubbing or extra pressure to the eye area.
Amazing
Kérastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique claims to add moisture, smoothness and shine, protect your hair from heat, improve styling and drying performance and make hair soft and supple, to my delight, I can agree with these statements. It has now officially become one of my holy grail products. I use a small amount after washing my hair, work it in to the ends and use the product left on my hands through the rest of my hair and fringe. With this product I noticed straight away that my hair dried a lot quicker, straighter and softer from the first use, with or without heat. As I have wavy, frizzy ends I thought this was the my hair behaving because it was a new product, but, months after it still works just as well. I love how soft and manageable my hair looks when I've used this. Normally after my hair dries, especially after using heat, it becomes frizzy and has a 'bitty' texture at the ends but this product isn't phased by this. There is only one down fall to this product, the price.
This is a great multi purpose product. You can spray this on your brush to intensify the colour of you eye shadow or on your face to freshen up make up or if you have over powdered. It doesn't exactly "set" make up but it's a great little product to have. Fix + has saved me a few times when I have over powdered and started to look a little cakey. (Put the brush down, Lis haha)
I've been using this on and off for a few years now and I always keep coming back to this one when using drugstore products. It's so hard to find a long lasting foundation when you have oily skin but this certainly stays put. With concealer, it covers all of my Hyperpigmentation (scars left from acne) and once set with powder lasts longer than any other drugstore foundation I have tried.
Nars blushes are gorgeous! They're really pigmented and blend effortlessly. I also have a blush in 'Gina' and that is just as lovely. My only gripe with Nars blushes are they're over prices (in my opinion) and they're really shimmery. I'd love to see a range of blushes where the shimmer has been toned down a little.
