As a rep, i have found some colors and shades that work for different types of skin color. about 95% of the eyeshadows work well, where as one or two doesn't show up well. Mary Kay had this stuff called eyesicles, that i believe they should bring back. The eyesicles work as a shadow or underneath a shadow. its base was creamy and once blended, you can use by itself or as a base. the eyeshadows are very pigmented and true to color. i believe its the cheapest product on the market that works VERY WELL.
i like the eye primer, but i do have my favorites that are not Mary Kay's. The eye primer comes in this sweeze tube (which i love), and its a very sanitary way to share the primer at parties or if a friend wanted to try it. it goes on smooth, i haven't seen it crease, and it lasts all day
i have two toned lips so its hard for me to find a shade that i really like and could wear everyday, thats why i wear lipglosses. it gives me a shine and it's not sticky. i hate glosses that are sticky. your hair tends to get on your lips b/c of the stickyness. with Mary Kay's lip gloss, its not sticky, its true to color, and its only $13
i love the eyeliners b/c they are retractable and they do glide a lot easier than some others that i have tried. MY favorite color is navy and you guys should try our weekender collection eye pencil (they are almost gone).
i have allergeric reactions to a lot of different perfumes, that is why i don't wear them. when we got this in, i didn't like it. my unit director sprayed it on her and i hated the smell! i bought one just b/c i know other people may like the smell. so one day i tried it on me and omg, i loved it. so i bought one for me and everyone notices it (in a good way). i love this perfume and i haven't broken out from it. its not a strong smell, kinda sweet and light.
As a consultant, i try my best to try everything so if someone inquires about a product, i can give them my honest opinion. at first, i didn't like the night solution. all it seemed to do was tighten my skin. i have decent skin and i was trying to figure out what else it does. with the mineral foundation, you don't need a lot unless you want more coverage. i love that this foundation is buildable coverage, and if you have too much coverage, you can take some facial lotion, and blend it in with the mineral powder so you won't have a cakey look. I use the mineral powder in the summer b/c i sweat more, and i dont like a shiny face. This foundation is only $18, and it lasts a long time!
Organization at its best
So i am getting ready to go to Jamaica, and i am taking my roll up bag with me b/c it has four large compartments. In the first compartment, i put my skincare items. the second compartment i put my gel liners, paintpots, and my mac palette (it actually fits-the 15 palette). I have two other compartments left to put stuff in. if you like to be organized, this is for you.
How long does it take you to take off your makeup? Me..not, long!
If i ever stop selling Mary Kay, i will still purchase this item. Although it looks like you may not have a lot in the bottle, a little goes a long way. With just one swipe, you remove most of your eyeshadow. It isn't as oily as baby oil (i know some people still use it), and it doesn't burn your eyes. i love it!
