As far as drug store liquid liners go, this is a must have. it REALLY is waterproof! I have terrible allergies and sensitive eyes, so I find my eyes water in the mornings when I need to get ready. This liquid liner does not budge even when my eyes are watery, and it lasts all day long. The small brush tip makes it very easy to get super fine lines, and it layers nicely over richly pigmented colors without any weird bleeding or show through.

It pulls off almost like false lashes at the end of the night, which make it easy to wash away. But ladies, if you have a long night out, and crash before washing your face....it'll still be on your eyes (and not your pillow) in the morning.

I think it runs somewhere near 5 bucks, so you can't beat it for the price!

Overpriced. Mascara is a tough buy sometimes. I fell into the allure of name brand hype and marketing and I bought this expecting it to be a god send. It was ok...maybe even good. But certainly not worth the price. As others have mentioned, it dries out very quickly, and I've it flake on me during photo shoots in windy or very hot conditions, not a good thing.

If you want thick, full lashes for a better price, stick with L'Oreal's Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black and save yourself the money.

I've used every designer mascara out there, but Great Lash is my go to on a daily basis. My other MUA buddies tease me because I stick with this drugstore find, but I gotta tell you, it's a MUST have. I even use it for more over the top looks because I KNOW I can count on it to last!

Simply cannot live without this product. My skin is very fair, sensitive, and thin around the eyes, so I had pretty much settled into the idea that I'd never find a liquid foundation that would work for me. But then I found MUFE.

I'm in love. It matches my skin tone perfectly, goes on even, stays all day, and wears will in hot humid weather, through sweat, and harsh elements. I've have ZERO issues with creasing since since switching to MUFE. The price is higher than I'd ever paid before for foundation, but it's worth it.

Ladies, if you've got sensitive skin, you cannot AFFORD to settle for so-so foundation. Give MUFE a try!

I'd heard mixed things about E.L.F. so I picked up this set to give them a shot. Meh. That's the word I'd describe it. I'm no stranger to using a brush to apply lipsticks and glosses, so I thought this may be a cute and inexpensive way to carry many colors for reapplication throughout the day. But alas, sometimes you get what you pay for. The colors aren't heavily pigmented at all. Very sticky, and they wear off unevenly. I'd avoid this one ladies.

Ok, so I wasn't sold on Tarte until I tried this palette. I'm really into the looks that you can create with this set. Not to mention the brush provided is actually really soft, blends well, and cleans very easily. The colors are soft, and perfect for smoky looks that transition well from day to night. I've found this palette ends up in my purse as a traveler more often than I ever imagined. I'm a fan of the purple/charcoal smoky combo, so I turn to this often to quickly and easily achieve that look. Also, the bronze colors in this palette play VERY nice with Urban Decay's colors Honey and Last Call, in case you wanna get fancy! ;)

Urban Decay does it again. With this set and my deluxe set with honey in it, these are the two palettes I turn to when I'm stuck without any idea of what to wear. The rich pigments and glitter flecks in these colors make this palette super versitile. I use chopper and maui wowie when I want a semi-toned down look, and go all out with oil slick, sin, and polyester bride when I want something with some punch. Also, I bought this palette because I fell IN LOVE with Last Call and Mildew. Both are extremely gorgeous colors for fair skin. In the pick I attached I'm using all Urban Decay colors, the gold is Honey from the other deluxe set. :)

This set rapidly became an almost daily go-to palette for me. First, I'm a huge fan of richly pigmented colors, and I quickly found that Urban Decay has some bangin' colors that wear well together. The set is an AWESOME alternative to the renamed and rebranded Alice In Wonderland set. I'm a huge fan of Fishnet and Ransom. They work extremely well with graffiti for a super poppy psychobilly eye. I turn to honey often as a warm, rich gold to wear with browns or more "natural" looks. All in all the set is wonderful. It packs and travels well, and the mirror is just the right size. Can't recommend this set enough!

LOVE these quads, I mean they are a great product for a great price. If you travel often, it can be a super big pain in the butt to pack up a ton of makeup gear. These little guys are life saves. I'm a huge fan of the "Chai Latte" color set, as it allows me to do a satin/neutral pin-up eye in a hurry, and it goes on smooth and wears well throughout the day. If you're a makeup geek on a budget, this is a set worth having!

I have thin skin on my lids, so this works very well when I'm not using it daily. I reach for the paint pot when I know I'm going to be wearing heavily pigmented colors in a lot of layers, of if I plan to do a photo shoot that day, so the look will have to withstand heavy, hot lights, sweat, and jumping around. Not my daily primer, but great when you need more than average to make your look last.
