Beauty Product Reviews
not for sissies...
Yu-Be Skin Polish smells great and feels great on your skin. Personally, I prefer scrubs that are a hair on the aggressive side, and this is one of them. This is truly an amazing product for folks looking to slough away dried up skin blemishes (yuck). I use this primarily on my face, but it also works as a fantastic foot scrub or just a general body scrub.
the most perfect hand cream
Skin Food is a hydrating skin cream that won't leave you feeling greasy. It smells faintly of oranges and gin (the scent is fantastic), but it's not at all overpowering. If you suffer from dry skin, the price point and tube size do not make this moisturizer ideal for use as a "whole-body cream" as the product description suggests, but it's great for dry hands, feet, and elbows. I keep one of these in my purse at all times and always get compliments when I apply it in public.
coarse hair miracle
I have coarse, frizzy, wavy hair that is a nightmare to manage in the moist, heated summers of North Carolina. This product tamed my frizz, defined my waves and gradually improved the overall health of my hair. I've used a lot of wonderful salon quality curl creams (Davines, Momo, Arrojo, Loretta etc.), but this one is hands down my favorite.
At approximately $30 per 10 oz. bottle, the price is a little steep, but as another reviewer mentioned, a little goes a long way. I have very long, thick hair and I manage to make my bottle last about ten months (I use this daily). If you suffer from coarse, perpetually dry, and frizzy hair, I can't recommend Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream enough!
