Nasty Chems.
Of course I tried Nars' Orgasm blush...I'd heard so much about it, how could I not? Anyway, I brought it home from Sephora (thank god I bought it there, so I could easily return it), put it on and....Um, no colour. Hmm, maybe I need more on? Well, I left it for a while then looked in the mirror again. All of a sudden my cheeks were bright red! I hoped it wasn't an allergic reaction (washed my face off anyway), and decided to try it again another day. So, tried it again, and again it added no colour to my cheeks (I'm just a plain old NW15-20), and within 10 minutes my cheeks were bright red and reacting to the blush again. Nars uses lots of chemicals I now refuse to use on my body, including parabens. I won't buy this brand ever again until some major changes are made to the ingredients.
NOT smoothing.
Three MAJOR faults with this product. 1) it isn't smoothing at all, and you need a ton of it on your legs to get the razor to glide (so it's kind of a bad deal, wasting lots of product), 2) it's not moisturizing at all - after shaving with EOS, my legs were always desert-like, painfully so, and 3) at least with my bottle, it was advertised as being a number 2 recyclable (meaning it's really easy to find places that will recycle the bottle), but when I looked on the bottom of the container, it was really a 7 (meaning really difficult to find recycling facilities that will take it)! So, not a good product, and some false advertising from a brand that's supposed to be eco-conscious. Not cool.
The only lip balm I use.
This stuff actually stays moist, tastes/smells good, and doesn't have parabens. What more can I ask for in a balm? Really, this is what I use every night before bed, and have been pleased with it for over a year. I actually need a couple more of these for the kitchen and my purse. I have the Sphere in Summer Fruit, and I absolutely love it. Oh, and it's baby-proof....At least against a 7-month-old! Inexpensive, and an overall great product.
