Breaking me out?
I started using this sunscreen, and I absolutely loved the smell. I usually hate the smell of SPF, but this one actually smelled lovely. When I slathered it on, it turned my face blue. I looked like a ghost, which is what SPF does so I shouldn't be complaining. I figured I could deal with the extra blending.
The problem that I had with this SPF was that it starting breaking me out. Badly. I ended up with huge problem areas, and I didn't know what to do. I started using a different SPF for sensitive skin, but this product did leave me with a few scars.
The Go-To
This palette is my go-to palette for night. My biggest issue with the palette is the amount of shimmer. There aren't any matte colors in this palette and it drives me crazy because there isn't any contrast between matte, shimmer, and glitter.
I love how rich the colors are though. I usually sin all over the lid and as a highlight. Then, I usually use Last Call and Oilslick in my crease. There is a combination of different looks you can achieve with this one palette. It's also important to realize that you can mix colors to create what you're looking for.
The pigmentation of Urban Decay in general is amazing, but this product does have a lot of fallout. Be careful how you apply because it can get all over your face.
For My Bag
This is one of my favorite Too Faced Products ever. This palette kind of reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked Palette. The colors are a bit different, but I absolutely love this.
The packaging is insanely cute, and small enough for me to throw into my purse for when I travel or when I head to the gym. I love that it comes with cards to show you how to do different eye looks. It's perfect for younger girls who are just starting makeup or older ladies who want to try something new.
The texture can feel a bit grainy at times because of the glitter, but it's not annoying to me. I love the texture, and the pigmentation is great.
My favorite color is honey pot. I mix it with Cocoa Puff and it creates the perfect smoke-out color every time.
It's definitely worth the investment of $35.
Helped my nails.
I never wore nailpolish on my nails because I always wore artificial tips. I break out in hives when I drink milk, so I never have the right amount of calcium. Guess it did a number on my nails because my nails were so weak. I put tips on them to make them stronger, but that only made my nails worse.
As I started doing makeup, I realized having such long nails were unsanitary so I finally removed my tips. My nails were weak and damaged. I started using Essie nail polish and I noticed a dramatic difference in my nails. There was less ridges and it didn't look as horrendous as it once was.
My favorite color became Mademoiselle. It's a soft pink and shows up pretty sheer. Though, it's a natural color it makes my nails look clean and professional. It's a look I really like these days.
It used to streak on me until I realized I was applying too much. Two coats carefully applied will look gorgeous.
I also love Big Spender, Lilacism, and Chinchilly.
Too Harsh for Me
Yes, it removes my makeup. It also makes me completely break out, and it stings my face.
I honestly feel like there are chemicals burning into my skin when I use it. It may work for some people, but I feel like the formula is entirely too much on my skin.
I've stopped using the MAC wipes and I'm not trying different brands because this one wasn't the one for me.
Gorgeous, but messy
I absolutely love the Stila Lip Glazes. My favorite colors are Berry, Vanilla, and Sugar Plum, but I really love all the colors. There are a variety of different shades and a color for everyone.
I think my two favorite parts about this gloss is the twistable pen, and the texture. I know it's sticky and thick, but I love that. It lasts for such a long time, and I seem to always smack my lips together like it's my first time wearing lip gloss.
There are some downsides to the lipgloss though. The pen can get extremely messy. There are times when the gloss won't come out, so you'll end up twisting the bottom too much. The excessive gloss is a waste and it makes a mess in the caps. I spend lots of time just cleaning the caps with a cotton swab because it looks almost disgusting when it gets messy.
Another downside, the price. At $22, it's really expensive. I've learned to buy the holiday sets though. It saves me lots of money. The only problem is that some of the colors are limited edition, and you may not be able to find the same color again.
Still Creasing
I used to love Mac Paint Pots. My favorites are Groundwork, Rubenesque, and Painterly, but recently I've noticed they aren't working the same.
It's starting to crease, it's starting to feel and look cakey, and the consistency is too thick. I use my fingers to apply the products, and I try to apply it thin and evenly because I don't want it to look cakey.
For some reason, it just keeps creasing and feels entirely too heavy. I'm looking into other primers. I'll still use my prime pot because I love the way it looks as soon as I'm done applying. I just get annoyed because by the end of the day, it's no longer the way I wanted it.
Amazing Pigment
This is possibly one of my favorite new products! It's also one of the only WATERPROOF SPARKLE liners!
My favorite colors are Bora Bora, which I've used in a video. It's a pretty bright blue that reminds me of the ocean. I also love Royal (purple), and Electric (green)! It's perfect for the summer since they're also waterproof. Hello, beach days!
I think the sparkle adds a nice touch and makes eyes look brighter. It's not a chunky glitter, but a subtle shimmer with small flecks of glitter. The spongey tip makes the application super easy. The only comment I'd make is that it can get a little messy if don't open or close the product carefully.
It was 100 degrees when I wore this out, and I put it on at 10am and came home at 11pm. My makeup was seriously perfect. It looked the same all day,
It's a great product, and totally worth the money.
For everyone
I love this blush. I really like how it adjusts to anyone and looks great on even darker complexions. Sometime's it can be hard for darker colors to show up on a deeper skin tone, but this one really does itself justice.
It reminds me of the O-Glow from Smashbox, but in a powder form and without that silica feel.
Color for Summer
Since this summer, I don't want to wear tons of makeup. It's really hot and shadows tend to crease or melt off (no matter how much primer I use). I've been wearing just liner in a fun color. It's super fast to apply, and adds lots of fun to any look.
I love Flipside, Electric, Covet, Deviant, and Baked for the summer. The bright, metallic colors are my favorite for summer. I'll just line my eyes with it, and that's the entire look. Simple and easy, plus it's pretty waterproof. Great for the beach too!!
