Beauty Product Reviews
I absolutely LOVE this powder! I have super dry skin so it works great for me, and I also was color-matched extremely well! The only downside is that (for me personally) it's quite expensive, so I try to use it sparingly to keep it around longer!
Bipolar Pay-off
I recently bought some of my first MAC shadows 3 months ago. Some of the colors are just gorgeous with amazing pay-off! My two favorites right now are satin taupe and swish! But other colors give me a very sheer pay-off, especially some of the blues. I love the great shadows I have, but are disappointed by a few others. I agree with Rebecca D. in that Urban Decay is much more consistent when it comes to shadow pay-off and pigmentation.
One thing I love is their variety. They have SO MANY colors that are on their permanent line, sometimes I have a hard time deciding which to buy! Overall I will keep buying MAC shadows, but I'll just be careful to the ones I do buy.
FAVORITE BRUSHES!
These are my favorites makeup brushes! They're really affordable, super soft, and an added bonus: eco-friendly.
I looked into buying some MAC brushes, and don't get me wrong they're great quality. But they definitely were not nearly as soft and didn't quite fit my budget...The ecotools brushes don't shed of leave any unwanted hairs anywhere! plus they're really easy to clean. I'm slowly trying to collect them all because I love them so much! Maybe I'll buy some MAC brushes when I get older...But for now I'm lovin' me some Ecotools!
LOVE IT!
There is so much to love about this product! Lasts ALL day no creasing easy to apply etc...
THe only reason I do not give it a full 5 stars, is due to the poor packaging. The bottle is very cute yes, but I feel like so much product is wasted because the doe-foot applicator cannot reach it. Other than that I will be repurchasing this product again, and again!
Base, not primer.
When I went to the MAC counter the girl who helped me said that the paint pot works great as a PRIMER. So I thought I'd compare it to the Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP). My personal opinion? No comparison primer-wise. Its a fantastic BASE, yes. But primer-wise, not so much. Don't get me wrong I do tend to have oilier lids, but within about 4-6 hours I had some pretty bad creasing. It was almost like I didn't put a primer on at all, whereas UDPP lasts me all day. I will still repurchase this product, but only use it as a base.
