really convenient !

It burns a little on my skin, but these are so handy! I run out of them really quickly, but whenever I make it to the store these are a must have. make sure you moisturize after using them because they're a bit drying

ideal deep conditioner

this works wonderfully! It's great because its inexpensive but conditions like a high end product...your hair will smell great and will immediately feel much softer. once a week I use this and a anti-residue shampoo and the rest of the week, when I'm using my normal shampoo and conditioner, my hair is extremely healthy feeling. I recommend first using an anti-residue shampoo (I use one by Neutrogena), rinse and squeeze out excess water, apply the product to the ends of your hair (starting by your ears), leave it in your hair while you shave your legs and what not, rinse with luke warm/cold water thoroughly and you'll feel like you have a new head of hair!

terrible texture

I think the only way this "mends" split ends is by making your hair extremely sticky and giving the appearance of nice ends. Even then I feel like it looks like you've used gel in your hair...if you want to mend split ends you need a haircut with razor sharp scissors, you can't fix damage that has been done other than by removing it, and using deep conditioners and other creamy, nourishing products to prevent the breakage!

a definite must for dry hair!

I started using this when I was about 15, when my hair was dyed platinum blonde and was extremely damaged....I had split ends at my roots!! Over the years I stopped dying my hair so much and left it curly, and I found this product truly does help keep your hair soft. I don't use any herbal essence products but this has been a must have for me. I have extremely dry hair and I use it both when my hair is wet and when its dry, whether I'm wearing it curly or straight. It has a really great texture and definitely doesn't weigh your hair down whatsoever. I've tried other products but I haven't found one that is as versatile or nourishing for my hair yet!

STICKY

This stuff is extremely sticky when you spray it in your hair, and makes brushing through it difficult. Whatever it does to protect your hair from heat I feel is counteracted by the damage done when you have to rip the brush through your hair. I purchased this product once but I would never use it again...I prefer the chi straightening serum!!
