ROHTO is a Japanese brand and one of the oldest manufacturers of Eye Drops!

These eye drops sting the bejezus out of your eyes but once the crying stops you're left with fully refreshed, whiter brighter eyes. This is an essential part of my beauty routine, and one of my biggest beauty secrets to brighter, bigger eyes. But it's not just good for vanity, I'll use these are a pick me up when I've been starring at a computer screen or reading too long (like when I went cross eyed from reading the hunger games). I've used this stuff for about 4 years now and I love it. It's totally worth trying once. The active ingredient is menthol, so if you have a menthol allergy, don't try these. I'm using Rohto Arctic but they also have Ice and Cool which are less intense as well as regular Hydrating for those of you less adventurous. If you wear them, remove contact lenses before using the drops. Quickly drop 2 drops into both eyes and will immediately feel a cooling/stinging sensation. Then your eyes tear up and your vision becomes a big blurry. After about 30 seconds-1 minute you can blot away your tears but your eyes will still be very red. In 5-15 minutes the whites of your eyes will be crystal clear because the blood vessels have constricted. Wait about 15 minutes to put contacts in your eyes. Voilà! Refreshed, Brighter Eyes!
