I am quite fair right now. Generally the more fair you are the harder it is to look natural. The foundations I find sometimes at the lightest range aren't pigmented enough to cover my main problem, redness. Sometimes when the foundations are pigmented enough to cover you get a cakey look. Through trial and error on many products I have come to use main things as staples and then just throw in different options for change with the look. Below you will find a list of products I will put which ones I use as a staple in my routine and which I change out.

My foundation routine changes with the look I am going for, the type of skin I have at the moment, the season, how tan/white I am, so many factors. I wanted to show you how I look normal in person right now, not how I look "nice" with intense lighting and contoured crazy for film. I think a lot of foundation routines are just too made up for normal people to wear day to day.
While this video is very long I show you the entire process and explain to you why I do what I do and how each product I add does something purposeful. I didn't speed it up too much or edit out too much so that you could see for yourself how the products change my face. I apply the makeup in a certain order that eventually leads to a seamless and flawless foundation routine. If you want to give up on me 2 minutes into the video because of what it looks like, I say just wait! It comes together I promise. Clearly this is quicker to do when I am not filming, it can also be shortened in real life if you use a single product instead of the layering effect I go for. Which also makes it cheaper. I think if you do that just remember to set your makeup with either a good powder for longevity or a makeup setting spray.
