Hello Everyone How are you welcome to my new mini series Makeup for beginner's!! Part 1 will be on skincare, which to be honest is the most important part of your skin/ makeup! If you don't take care of your skin then makeup will only make breakouts worse, and make your makeup not look as good as it could.
I want to start by saying please make sure to drink at least 8 cups of water a day. Water is so important to your skin, and your body!! Also eat healthy also as the body need the nutrition to be happy and healthy also.
so lets move on, Skin care doesn't have to be as crazy or over whelming as some my think. there are four simple steps that you need to take to keep your skin looking it's best.
1: Cleanser
2: Exfoliate
3:Moisterizer
4: Sun Screen
I also believe you should get an eye cream just for your eyes, as they are more sensitive that the rest of your face.
In my video I speak about the important of finding the right skincare for your skin type.
If you have Oily Skin, you should look for cleansers and other facial care products that have salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or other oil cutting acids. Please make sure to talk with your doctor about question you may have on a product your not sure about using.
Many People with oily skin like to use medicated cleansing pads, and us blotting papers through out the day....If you would like more information please let me know.
Skincare: For oily Skin
You need to find cleansers that have mineral oils, dimethicon, glyerin, lanolin,or lactic acid. These ingredients will help cleanse your skin and keep it moisturized.
Skincare: For combination skin
I found that most pros say to use a combination of both oily and dry skin cleanser to help your skin be the best it can be.
There is also a organic route you can take and use milk to wash your face. use a cotton ball apply milk and wash off your makeup, you can leave the milk on or rises it off, all up to you. If you have honey you can at that with a little warm milk to help out with dry skin, and if you have dry skin you can add a little salt to warm milk and wash your face.
You can also make home made face mask and exfoliates or scrubs. (if you would like a video talking more on that let me know)
Sun Screen in any weather is a must the suns rays still shine even when you think they are not, please make sure to find a sun screen that best fits your skin type and to use it when ever you go out.
What I use for my dry skin: Dry Skincare

Also please remember you can go to a department store and ask for help, with finding out your skin type, and then you can go and buy your skin care from a drug store. they all work the same for the most part. You don't have to pay department store prices, to have good skin care.
