The look I am doing is a Vintage Classic Pinup Rockabilly Style Hair and makeup
Please check out the girls, we had so much fun doing this look for you. In the video I am doing My dress is a vintage, all jewelry is Authentic found in my late grandmother's jewelry box. Hope you enjoy. Great for Halloween, Dress Up or JUST for Fun. Even Vintage weddings as a theme..go for it. Winged Eyeliner, and Red Lipstick, White Gloves..totally what Ladies in the Depression era Wore. I love the dress, Perfect. Pearls, the whole bit. Music was classic, so romantic, and sexy..makes you wanna dance.
The Classic Pin UP Look
1. FOUNDATION Start with a clean face, Move to primer, something to Mattify the skin Like Givenchy Mister Mat like I chose to wear, over a HD Primer From NYX or MUFE, But not before Moisturizing the skin..you do not want a flaky mess, I recommend a good one like Puristic's Skin Rejuvenating Advanced totally ageless Lotion. Then apply a BB Cream, for extra insurance like Urban Decay's Naked Skin Beauty Balm, Followed by a Matifying concealer like Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage in #5 , with your fingers to really get the best coverage, heats up the product and melts it to your skin for perfect not creasing flawless coverage, especially for concealing crow's feet, dark circles and bags. After that , Take a brush of choice, a Real Technique Stippling Brush and a HD Foundation like NYX or MUFE, and stipple the product , using just the stippling hairs of the brush in tapping circular motions, it will gel with the concealer for the perfect Flawless AIRBRUSHED FOUNDATION YOU WILL EVER GET!! , Then Apply A Finishing Powder like Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Powder.
2. CONTOUR In the Vintage Era, It was POPULAR to Have chiseled features, a strong contour line, use something matte, grey, based Powder to cast the perfect shadow for the most contoured chiseled cheekbones ever, placed at the hollows of the cheeks like the one I used, Matte Bronzer by Mac Cosmetics www.maccosmetics.com and a Rae Morris Radiance Brush / perfect for contouring.
3. Blush The fities were noted for the rosy pink cheeks, a good choice is Flushed palette by Urban Decay.
4. . HighLighting Make sure you high light under the eyes to the temples with a matte concealer or foundation, brow bones, the bridge of the nose, the chin, the cupid's bow, the temples, anywhere on your face you feel bone..where the natural light bounces off your face, place a shimmer powder or cream for best effect.
5.. Red LIPS are the key and almost the one thing you can not forget. like MAC 's Ruby Woo, or Lancome's In Roughe 165, Channel , YSL so many companies have the perfect blue based Red ,
6. Winged Eyeliner. Take the blackest of Black Eyeliner like Smolder, or black Trcak, or Urban Decay's Perversion, or Zero, and wing out those eyes!! Lashes ..Glue on a pair of Whispies from Ardell, Red cherry, Kiss, Revelon..Whatever USE Them,
