I know...I'm a horrible person. I got to thinking, and by the time this challenge is over, it will be the summer time. It will be sunny/hot/humid. Flat ironing my hair in such weather would last a few minutes before it began to poof uncontrollably. So there would be no point to wait right? Right. I straightened it earlier on in the month since I didn't plan to have it straight for 'the big reveal.' But wait...there's more! I also went to my hairdresser and got this junk PROFESSIONALLY trimmed. (Cuz let's be honest, my layers were uneven and a bit janky...) So now my layer actually blend together, and although I lost a bot of length, my hair feel healthy. So that's my spiel, I'm disqualified, I should go directly to jail, I do not collect $200. But since I made the commitment to record my progress in December, I'm sticking to it for myself. I doubt I'll reach my goal by my birthday, but I know I will before this year is up!

P.S. Do you notice my golden roots in my front sections of hair? That is intentional. I'm am doing a reverse ombre! [;
