Hello there! Here is a nail video for you on how to use a fan brush. I found it messy and difficult at first but after a while it becomes alright. You can choose to put tape to avoid the mess. I felt that brushes and nail polishes do not work very well together so I used acrylic paints. I prefer if the brush is dry because I don't like the bristles to be wet. Wet bristles makes the lines thicker while thin bristles make the line finer. So I guess its up to you if you prefer thicker or thinner lines. I prefer thinner lines and would recommend that but its really personal preferences. The amount of paint and water you use is more of a trial or error method but you can refer to the video on how I did it. Please comment, like or subscribe. It would mean a lot to me! Thank you (:
