Hello,

Hello,
Here I demonstrate 5 very useful blusher techniques that will help you enhance your natural face shape and create an illusion. You can use cream or powder blush or even gel it doesn't really matter. All you need to do is to work out which of the techniques suit your face shape the most.
Once you know which is right for you it will actually change your life- well that's a little OTT but you will notice the difference it makes to your face. Look at the celebrities! They all know these old, tried and tested ways to apply blush to perfection. Plus it is one thing we learn at makeup school.
1- The V -not so great on naturally strong cheek bones or narrow faces but fabulous on the more rounded or triangle shapes.
2- High Cheek bones - amazing illusion to create higher cheek bones but be aware if you are lucky enough to have high cheek bones, this can look harsh or over pronounced.
3- The Apple blush- Not so great on round or square shape faces but if applied correctly it can give you a very cute flushed look. This can be great on narrow faces as it gives the illusion of a wider face.
4- The Horizontal Blush- I wouldn't recommend this for square or rounded faces as it adds volume to the face making it appear wider. Would compliment a longer face.
5- The vertical Blush- Not ideal for a long narrow face but perfect for rounder fuller face shapes.
Hope all the information I gave you will help you experiment at home so you can find the ideal blusher technique for you.
