Description

Claire is an orphan who took the code name of "Lightning" after losing her parents to escape the vulnerabilities and insecurities of her former self and to become a different person—strong enough to care for her younger sister Serah. During Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning is a former soldier who embarks on a quest to save her sister who is turned into a crystal as a result of a curse. She has also been featured in the sequel Final Fantasy XIII-2 as well as the crossover game Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, and will be the solo playable character in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
