I have been natural for three years. In order to go natural, I transitioned from a relaxer to natural hair. When my hair reached a length I was happy with, I cut off the relaxed hair. These 3 years have been an amazing journey. I have worn my hair straightened for the entire 3 years and this is my first time considering embracing natural curls.

I have since filming this video had a change of heart. My mom did a big chop almost a year ago (we have the same exact hair texture) and she does not wear her hair natural either because of the frizz. Therefore, I just do not think it's for me at this point in my life and career. I plan on wearing flexi rods and perm rods on the weeks that I do not get my hair done in the salon.
