I am made up of many different ethnicities around the world. I am so proud to be who I am and I am proud to be able to share them with you!
The first culture I will be sharing with you is from the Island of Hawai'i.
Hula is a dance that tells a story. When I used to dance professionally, we were not allowed to wear too much makeup. You are meant to be very natural. In Ancient times, The attire was Tea leaf for a skirt. (Boy has times changed!)
When I was younger, We used to listen to stories from our Tutu's (Grand mothers) about Night Marchers, our blood that is Ali'i (Royalty), The Magical Menehune & the wars between each island. My dad has taught me and my siblings how to play the Ukulele, I also used to Dance Hula Professionally. I am very involved in my Hawaiian Culture and I am Proud!

I wanted to Recreate Lilo from Lilo and stitch because it's one of my favorite movies and when it first came out in theaters in 2002, Every Polynesian on the Base filled up the theater! It's something about being around Polynesians that gets me inspired and I find love all over again! Chhheeeeeehoooo!
