Prom Makeup Tutorial - Using Drugstore Makeup!

I'm excited to finally upload this tutorial. I wanted to wait for prom season and here we are!

This is my first prom look for YouTube and I wanted to use all drugstore products to make it affordable. This is a glam smokey eye that would look good with any skin tone and any dress color.

I also show you the Scott Barnes foundation method, something new! The video is super detailed because I wanted to really teach younger viewers how to do their makeup in time for prom. Because the video is pretty long, i'm including video highlights for you so you can skip along if you want.

1:54 Prime face with foundation primer
2:20 Prime eyes with eyeshadow base
3:14 Use a damp brush to apply a silver shade to your entire mobile lid
4:07 Apply a champagne shadow to the middle of the lid to brighten
4:33 Take a blender blush and apply the silver shadow to the crease to help blend
5:01 Darker outer v with a deep purple shade
6:49 Apply bronzer above the crease to help warm up the eyes
7:13 Fill in brows - first outline with pencil then used an angled brush to blend in the product
9:03 Apply concealer around the brows to clean up the look
9:57 Set concealer with light powder
10:38 Line top lashline with black gel liner
11:38 Line outer half of lower lashline/waterline with black gel liner
11:59 Set lower lashline with dark purple shadow
12:23 Apply silver shadow to inner half of lower lashline
12:43 Apply champagne shadow to the tear duct
13:00 Curl lashes, apply mascara and false lashes if you like
15:13 Clean up fall out and touch up eyeshadow
16:28 Highlight with yellow concealer/blend in with fingers
17:52 Apply liquid foundation with damp blender sponge
19:50 Set foundation with translucent powder
20:41 Contour with bronzer
22:09 Highlight with liquid concealer
23:00 Apply bronzer on cheeks and then top with pink blush
24:15 Bright lip option: line lips with hot pink pencil, apply hot pink lipstick and hot pink gloss
25:45 Nude lip option: line and fill in lips with peachy nude lip pencil and top with nude gloss
