Hi Bellas,

Hi Bellas,
I've been wanting to make this video for the longest time and finally got around to doing it. Over the last couple of years I've developed some tips and tricks for applying makeup on clients with oily skin - and making it last. I know this could be helpful to a lot of you with oily skin or also to add to your repertoire as a makeup artist. I get a lot of questions on what products I recommend and in this video I recommend the steps on how to apply some of my fav products for oily skin.
Check out the video highlights:
1:46 Start with clean skin
2:29 Moisturize with oily skin friendly product
3:18 Let skincare dry or blot off excess moisture with a blotting sheet or tissue
3:57 Prime the skin with oily skin friendly product
5:32 Prime eyelids with eye shadow base
6:56 Apply anti-shine to the t-zone before of after makeup
7:53 Tip: Use oil-free matte finish foundations
8:17 Mix in foundation mixing medium to waterproof foundation
8:51 Blot excess oil in between layers of foundation to remove excess oils but keep the pigment
9:38 Set foundation/concealer with powder - press/roll into the skin to lock in makeup, then knock off excess product
11:15 Sprace face with makeup setting spray
13:27 Give you clients some blotting sheets to go if they're headed to an event/wedding etc
