NOW ON TO THE GRADING AND THOUGHTS lol!

Remember: NO MAKING IT WORK FOR REVIEWS! Making it work is not an honest review! If you are new, here's how I do Product Reviews. I follow the directions of the product and if it works, it works. If it doesn't you'll see that and I'll tell you. Below is a sum up of the directions, my grade for the product and my thoughts.

Kinky Curly Come Clean Shampoo - Grade: B

Directions: We all know how to shampoo, so SKIP lol

Thoughts: Very cleansing. Almost too cleansing (ie; stripping). I suggest pre-pooing your hair before using this. It was very lightly scented, almost unscented.

Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner - Grade: A+

Directions: THICK/COARSE HAIR

Apply a generous amount to hair and detangle well before applying KC styling products.

Thoughts: I loved this! It was moisturizing, but it wasn't oily. I loved that! It didn't weigh my hair down, but allowed my hair to actually move freely. It had a light floral scent. Smelled pleasant.

Kinky Curly Curling Custard - Grade: C+

Directions: THICK/COARSE HAIR

Apply to soaking wet hair from roots to ends to decrease frizz and detangle hair.

Thoughts: Was very slimy and left my hair feeling crunchy after it dried, but gave great definition to my twist. It was lightly scented, similar to the Knot Today because it was light and floral.

Kinky Curly Gloss Pomade - Grade: B

Directions: Not Listed. But online it says it is used to decrease the crunch from the KCCC and moisturize hair.

Thoughts: Wasn't very moisturizing, but it gave a light smooth feeling to my edges. For it to be a pomade, it didn't work well with edge control. It had a light citric scent. Smelled pleasant.

Kinky Curly Perfectly Polished Oil - Grade: A

Directions:

Can be used as a Hot Oil Treatment, Scalp Massages and Moisturizer for the hair.

Thoughts: It was almost like a serum. It took away the crunch of the KCCC, but I could still feel some of the stiffness from the KCCC. Overall I like this product. The smell was light, not floral but more earthy. I am not a big fan of the scent, but it is not a bad scent necessarily. I just don't like Earthy scents. And although floral scents affect my allergies, I prefer them more.

Round up: I think this is a pretty good system for twist outs. The only thing I could do without is the Curling Custard. But at the same time, I feel that is what gave my twist out such great definition and less frizz.
