#12 ❤ Coloring My Natural Hair With ION Color Brilliance Brights

I purchased the ION Color Brilliance Brights hair color from my local Sally's. My hair was washed 3 days prior to my color application. To get the best color pay off, it is recommended that your hair is lightened to a level 7 (which is about the color of Keri Hilson's hair when she first came out). I did not bleach my hair because I was okay with the color not coming out as bright, I had previously colored my hair with a permanent dye which is why my ends are lighter than my roots, and I don't have any experience using bleach. The directions recommend letting the color sit for 40 mins but I left it on for 2.5 hours to make sure I got the color to stick.
