Here's my opinion of the book to film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones".
Enjoy!
FYI: I rarely give anything a 10. The highest I ever give is a 9. So, as a point of reference, an 8 is amazing for me. :)
Continued from video:
Jemima West was AMAZING as Isabelle. Very alluring & sexy, yet very vulnerable. I enjoyed her scenes with Simon the most.
CCH Pounder was one freaky Madame Dorothea. Very weird yet creepy. Her interactions with Jace are funny.
Harald Zwart did a great job staying true to the book for the most part. Of course, there were a few things that I didn't like and that I would change, but it's an adaptation. Not an exact depiction.
Onto City of Ashes!
FYI: SPOILER version of this video coming on 8/27!
