How To Straighten Curly Hair!

Many of you have asked for an updated straightening hair routine. I straighten my hair about once every 2-2.5 months. I maintain my straight hair by wrapping it at night or doing a top knot and placing a satin bonnet on top. I try to wear my hair straight for 2 weeks before I wash it but sometimes I'll need to wash it in a week and re-do this routine. When I first straighten my hair, 9 times out of 10, this is the ONLY time I put heat on it while it's straight (if that makes sense).

Heat protectant I used:

I use 395 degree heat (The highest setting)

It takes me about 45 minutes to 1 hour to straighten my hair.

Straightening my hair in it's dry curly state allows me to use less heat AND my hair gets just as straight.
