I've always been interested in gyaru makeup & clothes since middle school, I love how kawaii everything is! I'm no gyaru though - this is just an inspired makeup tutorial, based off a Japanese magazine which features a similar look.

This is supposed to be an easy or everyday gyaru look, so I skipped much of the "theatrical" parts of it, like lower false eyelashes, thicker eyeliner, and contouring.

Circle lenses and lashes are really essential to any gyaru look, but I don't own circle lenses currently - contacts scare me - so sorry, I'm not wearing any in this tutorial. But I think you get how the look will really emphasize big, dolly eyes ^_^

Filmed with Canon T3i, edited in Windows Movie Maker and Adobe Premiere Pro. Made the sound effects with my guitar, believe it or not...

I hope I got the Japanese for gyaru makeup right. I barely know any Japanese so I had to ask my Japanese-speaking friend to translate...hope it's correct? Sorry, only speak German and Korean -_-
