This is my first real Nail art video. Please be kind <3.
Turbo nail art is a nail design inspired by the Turbo movie. I am so excited about the Turbo cartoon that I decided to incorporate the racing snail theme on my finger nails. I think the Turbo Nail design came out really cute and pretty and many times an interesting nail design can be the best accessory to your overall look. First, I painted nails with a darker rich blue color that will make a great contrast with the cartoon nail art that I will draw on top. On my thumb, I decided to paint a finish line, since Turbo is a racing snail and he wants to win the race. I painted a thick white stripe and then a thinner black stripe on top. Then I used the dotting tool to make black dots to get the first little nail art -- a finish line. On my index finger I drew Turbo. Since we want our snail nail art to really pop I first drew it with white. Then I used a bright yellow so that Turbo shines on the dark blue background. I think Turbo came out really pretty and cute. For my third nail design I decided to paint Turbo's shell on my middle finger. To achieve this, I took a dotting tool and make a spiral out of tiny little nail polish dots. On my ring finger I've created a sporty red spoiler nail design and on top I wrote a number 5, since this is Turbo's number. Finally, I created a lightning on my pinky finger using white and light blue color. I decided for the lightning nail art, since when Turbo is racing towards the finish line, he is fast as a lightning! The Turbo cartoon nail art is now complete!
Turbo (a.k.a. Theo) is a garden snail who dreams to be the greatest racer in the world. He doesn't fit in his slow and cautious snail community and he is a constant embarrassment to his older careful brother, Chet. One faithful day Turbo accidentally falls of the bridge on a racing car and gets pulled into the car's engine filled with Nitrous Oxide. Turbo's life dramatically changes -- he becomes the happiest and fastest snail in the world. Turbo is now not only super-fast, but he also embraces other car's characteristics: His shell blinks red when he is driving backwards like he would have taillights, his eyes can be used as headlights, etc. With these super powers, Turbo embarks on an extraordinary journey to achieve what no other snail has achieved before: become an Indianapolis 500 champion. Turbo can be an inspiration for us all -- his wish is so strong that although he is an absolute underdog he achieves the impossible by refusing to let his limitations get in the way of his dreams. I think this is such a wonderful story and thus I was really happy to incorporate Turbo's cartoon theme on my nails as a cute, pretty little nail art.
Turbo is 3D animated comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation based on an idea of David Soren who is also directing the film. Turbo the Movie voice cast include some of the finest Hollywood stars, such as Ryan Reynolds (Turbo), Michael Peña (Tito), Maya Rudolph (Burn -- a lady snail that Turbo falls in love with), Paul Giamatti (Chet), Snoop Dogg (Smoove Move), Luis Guzmán (Angelo), Bill Hader (Guy Gagne), Richard Jenkins, Ken Jeong, Michelle Rodriguez, Ben Schwartz (Skidmark), Kurtwood Smith an and Samuel L. Jackson as Whiplash, a snail leader. Turbo will certainly be one of the hottest animated movies in 2013, since it's creators DreamWorks never let us down as they worked on some of the best animated movies out there: Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Shrek, Rise of the Guardians, How to train your dragon, Puss in Boots, Megaminds, Monsters vs. Aliens, Chicken run, etc.
