Show More This is how I got my hair to basically a platinum Blonde. This wasn't exactly intentional, but to say the least; the Revlon Frost and Glow highlighting kit works VERY well to lighten hair!

* I didn't do a strand test, I recommend you DO one before highlighting your hair; I also don't recommend these products on very dark dyed hair.

*DISCLAIMER* I am not a professional hairstylist! I do my own hair and have done it for years. This worked for me but depending on your hair's condition and color history, your results may differ. Be responsible and wise with your hair.

To even out the color/ lift my roots I used L'Oreal's Feria dye in 110 (lightest high lift blonde). This product doesn't contain bleach and is also cool undertoned, which left me with a nice beige blonde color on my highlighted areas, and left my darker areas a natural unbrassy blonde. If your hair is brassy after highlighting or coloring I recommend using a Purple shampoo and condition for a week.
