November 15th is the day of the Shichi-Go-San(七五三,"Seven-Five-Three") in Japan.
Shici-Go-San is a traditional event to celebrate the healthy growth of children.
Long long ago, many babies died of disease or something else, therefore, it was very thankful thing for parents that their babies survive.
This festival is for three and five year-old boys and three and seven year-old girls.
Children dress up in kimonos or dresses.
Parents take them to a shrine and have a Shinto purification ritual.
Children are given toys and candies.
11月に入りそろそろ七五三の時期ですね、ってことで自分の3歳の時の映像を発見したので作ってみました。きっとこれが私の初めてのメイクだと思ったので。
