A foundation that can heal acne? Really? Used by Harry Styles? Apparently yes! Isn't this just a sponsored video? NO! IF ONLY! Long before these studies were released (and i believe they were carried out by the company) i was giving information about them and the conducting process etc... and was told i would be the first to here about any developments. Two weeks ago i had a lunch meeting with the founder and all young GORGEOUS Carisa Janes from Hourglass. We talked about products, likes dislikes and about why i love Hourglass and Immaculate. If you've watched me for any time you'll know - I HATE FRAGRANCE. Its the number one trigger for my headaches, but more than that its the number one cause of Skin Irritation - period. Yet companies still include it. WHY? If i want to smell nice i'll use some perfume (thank you very much) i don't need it or want it irritating my face.

This is one of the only few liquid foundations that i would ever use on myself or another man. For men, liquid foundations just don't look that good which is why i've always recommend mineral makeup. Looks more natural (at least on men). On me, this stuff is INVISIBLE. It creates a soft look to the skin, that looks like skin. No shimmer. No shine. NO POWDER look. Just skin.

Its best for those of you with normal, oily, very oily or combination dry skin. Those with very dry skin might not enjoy its abilities.

For me, i get around 8 hours of wear without shine. NO POWDER TOUCH UPS. Nothing. Its about as close to perfection as they come. At least for oily skin. Don't believe me - you should. Remember, this isn't sponsored. I can say what i want. All the cosmetics i own from Hourglass i have bought myself.

Remember foundation is a touchy subject. What one person loves another might hate. Finding the perfect foundation is like the search for the holy grail. But for me, and the clients i see with oily skin, its just got one step closer. I love this.

NOTE: Immaculate contains a TINY amount of Lavender. It is the second to last ingredient. It will not harm the skin. What to look for is when a product contains fragrance or irritating oils etc... that are high up on the ingredient list. I have asked as to why it was included, but i'm assuming its for the neutralising of the other ingredients which without masking can make a foundation smell very unpleasant.

These are not "science" based studies and should not be taken as such. I have no reason to disbelieve Hourglass, but again, these aren't science based. They are for reference only.

RMCA, Hourglass and Makeup Atelier Paris are the three most honest companies i know of, which is why i wanted to mention this video.

For those wanting to know if i carry and use all these shades on people. The answer is yes and no. I recommend them to people, 100% but i only use these on VERY oily skins. I am a creature of habit and i tend to use the same foundation that i've used most of my career, MAC Full Coverage Foundation, RCMA and KETT Creme Foundation.
