I remember I saw my first Cirque du Soleil show, "O" in Las Vegas at age 8. To this day I have such great respect for the performers, production team --- everyone who contributes to these amazingly surreal and breathtaking showcases. Cirque du Soleil means "Circle of the Sun" in french, so I knew I wanted to incorporate dazzling gold in this look in representation of the sun. I worked off the nail-polish colors that were given to me, which was a coral pink and a clear polish with black and white specks in it. One of the colors was called "Whirled Away" and that gave me visions of a performer just whirling through the air, tumbling and flipping seamlessly -- so I wanted to incorporate a lot of loose and organic designs on my face as well.

ARDELL and CHINA GLAZE have designed a new line of eyelashes and nail polish colors (respectively) to honor Cirque du Soleil's new movie and they were generous in sending me 2 China Glaze nail polish colors and a few sets of Ardell eyelashes. You see both these nailpolish colors in this tutorial as well as one of the sets of Ardell eyelashes, "Daring" on me. You can find these products in beauty stores and local drugstores world wide!
