Glittery Beyonce Inspired Makeup Using BH Cosmetics

Hi, everyone. I did this tutorial using my BH Cosmetics 120 Palette. This is the #2 120 Palette, because they have three of them.

I obviously went back to black. I know I'm going to get tons of questions as to what salon I went to, what did I do and everything. But I didn't go to the salon. I just did that home color. I just got the Revlon. I saved the box for you guys, because I knew you would ask.

I got the brown-black number 20. These are like $3 at, like, Target. I loved the highlights, but I'm really happy to have my natural black hair back because I don't have to touch up the roots and do all that stuff. I can't keep up with that stuff. [laughs] So I let my hair grow in and I was noticing my roots, so I just decided to color it now. So, that's what I did.

But anyways, this makeup tutorial is using glitter, and it is inspired by the wonderful Beyonce. I'm going to put a picture. I might show a picture of it right or I could link you guys to the video. She was performing and she had this really pretty, glittery, natural type of look, and I used lashes. I'm in love with this look. [cell phone ringtone] I don't feel like it's over the top. Sorry. I don't feel like it's over the top, but it's really nice and glittery.

So, here are the eyes. I added more gold than hers. So, mine is just inspired, I just used it as inspiration, but I used glitter and these amazing false lashes from FoxyLocksExtensions.com. I will post that down in the information below.

A huge thanks to Natalie for introducing me to "Speechless" by Beyonce. I love this song. I literally have been listening to it on repeat for the past three to four [Beyonce ‚ Speechless plays loudly]. I wish I could sing. But, yeah.

My hair is a little. I've been curling my hair a lot. I don't know if you guys have noticed. But, anyways... ooh!

Ok, let's just get started to the tutorial, because all of this is not necessary for me to fix my hair when I'm just introducing you guys to the tutorial. [laughs] So, let's go ahead and jump into it. Enjoy!

So, right now I have a powder, of course, I use Maybelline's Shine Free loose powder to touch the fallout, because I'm working with glitter, and we will have fallout. But if you don't do your foundation before your eyes, then you won't have any problems. But I do my foundation beforehand anyway.

So I have my eye primed with Painterly Paint Pot by MAC. That's on my whole eye area. I'm going to use the BH Cosmetics 120 Palette. This is the #2 120 palette. I know that there's three of them. But I'm going to take #2. This is the first layer... ooh! I'm way too close, because I was in my eye. But this is the first layer. [laughs] I'm taking this BH Cosmetics brush. This is the third row, third one down. I'm going to take that color right there as my highlight. Next to the purple tab, it's attached to the palette. I'm taking that second one right there. This is a Sigma blending brush. I'm going to take that and I'm just going to blend this all over my lid and up in my crease. I'm taking another BH brush, and this is, like, a really small, flat brush. I'm taking the same second layer, but now on the opposite side there is a kind of silver-gray color, and it's the fourth one in, and apply this on my lid.

This just serves as a base. I'm not using a cream liner or anything, because then, that glitter glue, it is going to eat it all up. So I might as well just use powder.

Now on to the glitter part, which is the most important. I'm taking this Sally Girl glue. This is a bigger BH brush. Since you have to work with the glue pretty fast, I'm just going to show you guys what glitter I'm using. This is by MAC. It's called the Reflex Gold Glitter. I put it in this big, old pot. It's really, really pretty. Really, really fine. It's not chunky or anything. So I'm going to work fast with this glue.

I'm going to just put this over. Now I'm going to grab that glitter. I'm going to start patting on. Just like that. Then kind of just pick out the glitter from your eyelashes. My girls with contacts, if you really can't see without your contacts, and, like, you're totally, like, everything is just really, really blurry, then of course put on your contacts. But if you can do without them, please do so, because you don't want to ruin your contacts. You especially don't want to get this glitter in your eyes, of course, obviously. So, be very careful.

I'm going to wipe away that powder.

Using a pencil brush, this is by Sigma. I'm going to go in with the first layer of the 120 palette. I'm going to take this really pretty gold. It's the third row in, second one down. Right there. That will be my tear duct color.

I winked out my liner a little bit, so I'm going to go ahead and do it on this eye. I used my L'Oreal Telescopic Liquid Liner.

After you have your eyeliner on, I'm going to apply these amazing eyelashes. They're so pretty. Shout out to Foxy Locks Extensions. She is the one who sent me these. These are amazing. So gorgeous! I'm going to put these on and I will be right back.
Here are the finished eyes with the lashes applied.

All right. So, let's go on and finish the rest of our face. I'm going to go ahead in with this big, fluffy brush. It is really, really soft. It's by BH Cosmetics. This is a Coastal Scents bronzer. It's called Penny Matte bronzer. I'm going to use this to contour my face. Coastal Scents has, like, a lot of these mineral bronzers. They're all different shades. But Penny is the best bronzer shade for me. But there are light ones, there are dark ones. I think there's about six or seven different bronzers.

Using the same BH brush, I'm going to take a Michael Todd Cosmetics Blush in Apricot. Beyonce's not wearing a lot of blush, but I like blush, so let's put some on.

Moving on to my lips, I'm going to use MAC's Peachstock lipstick. Taking this Mark Cosmetics, I'm taking the lighter one. This one is called Smooches.

Before I finish off the look, I just want to add a little liner on the bottom. This is another BH Cosmetics brush. It's just like an angled brush. I'm going to take the first layer of that 120 palette. I'm going to take the darkest brown. Right there. And mix it a little bit with black. So, the black and the brown. I'm not going to zoom in too much with this, just really quick.
