These are my suggestions for a MAC starter kit. Your first trip to MAC can be a bit intimidating and overwhelming, but from my experience if you just tell the sales person you're just starting, they are going to be happy to help you learn about the products. Just look around, ask questions, try things on and have fun. It won't be long until you're addicted to MAC like the rest of us :)
