While I was browsing through Big Lots makeup section I came across some L'Oreal pigments that were marked for a $1. I love to buy MAC pigments (I usually buy the samples online) so I browsed the 3 colors they had available to see if there was anything I liked. I soon noticed the pigments looked very similar to some I already had. These would be great back ups when I run out of my MAC samples. I performed a series of "tests" and see if the quality was comparable. You'll have to watch the video to find out!

Which Brand is Really a Better Deal? Break Down of Cost Example:
MAC Vanilla pigment bought from a MAC store runs about $20 for a 4.5 gram jar. (will last FOREVER)
Sale options: If you have a pro card it's cheaper, if you buy it online it's cheaper. But the con to that is you run the risk of buying fake pigments since MAC pigments are highly counterfeited online. You can buy them in sample sizes you can usually get 1/4 of a teaspoon for $2-$3 from several legit sites.
L'Oreal Restless pigment retails for $10 something at various places they sell the brand. It is actually more expensive to buy this brand than the MAC because the MAC jar will give you 3 times as much for only double the price.
Sale options: I found mine at Big Lots for waaaay less than retail. These are also found everywhere online for less than retail, therefore they turn cheaper to buy these than the MAC samples online and the regular MAC jars. You can usually find them on eBay, Amazon, pretty much google the color you want and you will find it below $5. On the plus side people don't tend to counterfeit these so you can really trust the product if bought online.
FTC: I bought everything in this video with my own money. I was sponsored by no one to make it or for my opinions. My opinions are my own.
