Hi everyone! I wanted to use some "in trend" fall 2011 pieces in multiple outfits, because I know what it's like being on a student's budget. Most of the Forever 21 pieces I showed are new and I purchased them online, so grab them while they're hot! I highly recommend the plaid shirt and the wool blazer!!! They can definitely be staple pieces in anyone's wardrobe.

Another trend I recommend anyone to play with this season is "colored bottoms". They can add some fun to a neutral color based wardrobe. You can vary the shape of the bottoms to suit your body type too! There is no need to blindly follow a trend just because it's in style. For example, bell bottoms are in style but not everyone can pull off bell bottoms! Try skinnies, bootcut, straight leg... whatever suits YOU!

The easiest, quickest and probably cheapest way to add "fall" touches to your wardrobe is by buying some new accessories. Think statement pieces, Aztec influences, and geometric shapes.

What's most fun about fashion is that 10 people can all own the same piece from Forever 21 and create 10 completely different looks! I enjoyed playing with Alisa's clothing to suit my own wardrobe, and she did as well with some of my pieces! So play around and enjoy the lovely autumn weather to come~
