This was the first video I filmed with my new Camcorder, so please forgive my next few videos, I will be ironing out the kinks, getting used to it etc... The Model number is HDR-CX580V however I have to return this specific model. Before I bought the camera I checked with Sony customer service to see what camcorders came with a Remote (having a remote is very important to me; I suspect it will make fashion videos much easier to film/more enjoyable for your to watch). Long story short,when it arrived, it didn't have a remote, just like the website said- leaving me rather annoyed since I was was told by the rep that it did, that the website was wrong. Apparently only the Sony Projector camcorders a have a remote, so I'm exchanging this one for the projector & remote one. Sorry for the novella, but buying a camera has been a process for me (it started last fall- of the horror stories!) and if my experience can help anyone out there, it's worth sharing.
