Welcome to my guide!
Today I'm giving you all the tips I've acquired while shopping for hair care products that will better help you on your next shopping trip.
The biggest tip I would suggest is making a list. I know it sounds simple and obvious but hear me out. When you make a list ,you give yourself a foundation to work with. I find that I research products more when I make a list and it helps me in BIG beauty stores where the offerings and options can be overwhelming.
Having an idea of what you're looking for is only the beginning. I find looking up reviews on various websites, asking friends and taking suggestions all play a big role in finding that perfect product.
I didn't mention this in this video but assessing your hair's needs would be a good starting point. If you have oily, straight hair that is unruly you may want to looking into balancing conditioners or clarifying shampoos. If you have frizzy, poofy curls you may want to invest in a good cream moisturizer etc.
As mentioned in this video, you don't have to feel compeled to purchase something on your visit. Think about it, go home and research it so you can make a more informed doeskin and save your money. With that said, you still want to have an open mind so that if a new product hits the shelf, you'll be willing to try it. You never know it may end up being your Holy Grail product.
Pricing is another variable when choosing what to buy and even where to buy. I'd say do as many price comparisons as you can. I find the more popular brands like Milani, Ramoni, Motions etc are found at all beauty stores in Toronto but can have a vast range of price points.
