Hey Freaky People! I was one of the few who was lucky enough to by able to receive Glossybox USA's inaugural beauty sample box. In the war of the sample box companies Glosssybox is king, and it's international success has been unrivaled. They choose to work with only the best brands and their attention to detail seems to be impeccable. Opening this box was like getting a present. From the beautiful box to the matching custom tissue paper this box just exudes luxury.

The program isn't cheap. It's $21/monthly for those of us in the US. The price isn't higher than other Glossyboxses, it's just the conversion to the US Dollar that makes it seem like we're paying more. That being said, $21/monthly is by no means cheap and for that you can afford 2 sample boxes from other brands. Even though the products in the inaugural box were full sized, save one, the boxes from now on will include 5 samples, only 1 of which will be full sized. Glossybox has said that they don't intend to put in 4 foil packets in the box and add in one full size item but will instead fill the box with bigger samples, though they haven't commented on whether those will be deluxe or travel sizes. Judging from boxes received in other countries, it doesn't look like not getting your money's worth is ever going to happen.
