TIPS ON COLORING HAIR AT HOME
1) Apply evenly, if you have long hair or extra thick hair BUY TWO BOXES
2) Clean up mess ups on skin IMMEDIATELY
3) You CAN apply Vaseline or extra lotion to ears, and neck to prevent staining prior to coloring, I don't do it because if it gets on the hair it will cause patches!
4) DON'T WASH FRESHLY CLEANSED HAIR- the natural oils will help protect your hair
5) NEVER dye hair with any product build up, plan out your at home dye job, make sure your hair has no product in it.
6) Follow the directions for your particular dye
7) Don't dye your hair with a box of color that is 3 shades or more lighter than your hair color without lifting first ( in other words you need to BLEACH your hair first to get your hair to take a lighter color evenly, and that should be done by a professional to prevent unnecessary damage!)
