The new process of filling out the cheeks to make them look prominent is an effort to recreate the plumpness of youth that younger people have naturally. It makes perfect sense. But what happens is that a little looks amazing so we think "if a little looks good then a lot must look even better". Wrong.

Older women, and men, especially if they are slim, will notice a hollowing of the cheeks and around the eyes.

Fillers are chemicals that are injected into areas in the face to plump out the skin, restoring a youthful look.

The problem is that patients may be so thrilled with the results they want more and more injections.

At a certain point, the face and lips look puffy and over-stuffed, hence the term pillow face.'

At 34 i know what its like to start to getting older. It concerns me i'll be honest. I've also had botox since i was 28 in dealing with migraines and i'm not going to lie - i love that fact that it smooths my forehead. But i also know when to stop.
