Here are some tips on how to save money when buying high end makeup:

1. Look for Size - and check for pigmentation - the product should be pigmented and you shouldn't have to build up colour.

2. Get a pro card. If you are a markup artist you should have a pro card. Photographer? You should have a pro card. Done a makeup course? You might be able to get a pro card? Have a beauty blog/channel? You might be able to get a pro card.

3. QVC. A great place to buy and try makeup without wasting you money. If you dislike the product you have the option of returning it. Which is a wonderful thing. And don't forget "Today's special value"

4. Ask for a tester! Never feel bad for asking for a tester regardless of where you are shopping. Its your skin and your wallet. Never be afraid to ask for a tester.

5. Check the internet. There are many, many places that offer great discounts and its worth checking. Sometimes you can get the product you want for half the price because the box was damaged but the product is still in tact. So shop around (online).
