I was a humungosaurus fan of arts and crafts when I was younger, and friendship bracelets were pretty high on C'erine's specialty list. I actually remember walking to school and making bondoogle/gimp bracelets and being 30+ minutes late (this was in China) so I pretty much had to apologize to the class & stand outside for 20 minutes to reflect...
Anyways, I was playing with my hair the other day and I realized this could potentially look so unique and interesting if you applied the same techniques to hair! It's a little tricky on your fingers but as long as you're comfortable with the cobra stitch, then it shouldn't be too difficult. Don't give up, it even took me a few tries to get it right.
I mentioned that you need to apply a paste/wax in order to create this look and for it to look smooth and clean, but if you don't have any hair products handy then run some water through the bottom section right before stitching.
