I was inspired to make this nail polish rack when I got sick of searching for them!!
This was a very affordable version. I have seen a $50 version by Dulce Candy a few days after I made mine! Ahh well.. mine was only about $15!
WHAT YOU NEED:
3 foam board sheets, which come from Walmart! Like $2 each
Ruler
X-acto knife (from Walmart) if you know of a better tool tell me
Glue gun
Glue sticks
Pen/ pencil
DIMENSIONS OF THE RACK:
For the back piece: 21x26"
Side panels: two pieces 26x2"
Shelves: eight pieces each measuring 2x21"
I made mine a little shorter because my wall didn't have as much space, but you can edit these specifications based on what space you have!
Measure your tallest nail polish bottle to see how you should space yours, I made my top shelves smaller for my mini nail polishes!
Also, you can make little borders to stop the nail polish from sliding off the front!

this is such a great idea! but did the nail polish ever get too heavy? and what about the glue? I know that after a while the glue gets old, and starts falling apart, and such. how's your's holding up??

I love this tutorial you did..this is a great job.and it looks like this will be my next project as well..and I know what you mean about those exacto knifes.they are hard to cut with sometimes.Love the tutorial..I hope that when I go to buy my foam boards they have more colors, other than black and white.
So Shyla, I might just use a box cutter, never thought of it.great idea.

Using a box cutter might be a lot easier than an the knife. There's more room to hold it, and also they usually come with extra blades.
