Yes I am a pear...I just work out so I'm less heavy set (because this body tends to look heavy very easily). I have a less than 24 waist, with 36 inch hips. Its not as exaggerated as some, but it's still very much a pear
I even checked it across websites like Shopyourshape
You can enter in your measurements and find out what you are, it agrees that I'm a pear (but in the more modern/expanded options I lean towards spoon/pear because of my raised hip bones)
Generally speaking, its all about drawing attention to the top and playing down the bottom. For tops they should be bright, patterned, off the shoulder, whatever it is that will draw attention and makes you feel comfortable
Bottoms should be kept plain, and focus on elongating and playing down the bottom. So think nude heels, dark pants etc
