There are routines for the beginner, intermediate and advanced yogini. You can also choose the length of your practice, under 30min, 30min+, under 45min, 45min+. I preview routines before I do them. And I pick the best one for how I'm feeling that day or what needs to be worked on.
I feel that this DVD helped me once I did take a yoga class at the YMCA. I already knew a lot of the poses in Sanskrit. And I had a good idea of how to do them. But being in class helped because the instructor can correct your pose. I've learned some things in class that I couldn't learn from the DVD because at some point, you'll need some hands on training. The lessons I've learned has made my home practice so much better.
Anyway, if you're looking for something new to add to your daily routine, definitely give yoga a try.
