When most women hear or see these nails their first question often has to do with how they hold up. Many ask what happens after getting them wet. The answer is simple, they dry.

How long does a velvet manicure last?

Velvet manicures last for 2 - 3 days. They are in the category of really fancy nails that don't last very long. The good thing is that they are super easy to redo when they start to ruin.

My first velvet manicure lasted only a day and a half because I went to an amusement park and they got dirty. I never thought that my nails would get dirty. it was weird...it was like clothes getting dirty but it was my nails.
